Choices choices...

So...I didn't really know which picture to choose for the Fall Competition, so I'm posting all of my options. I know, I know, they're all pretty similar. But I like them, so I'm posting them anyway. I have that kinda power as owner of this blog. :P

Okay, so I asked my sisters which one they liked best and they chose the last one, so that's the one I'm entering. I hope they chose the right one! *Fingers crossed*

Leaves

Well, fall's here (*tear*) and all the leaves are changing colors. I took like
a five minute walk a couple weeks ago to snap some pictures of them.

Note: This is NOT my picture for the fall competition considering that I took it long before the contest was announced.

Back to School

Here's my back to school submission. This was taken at last night's football game.

Sunset

This is my submission for the sunset contest. Sierra should recognize this one. ;)

Cute Enough to Eat

Berry Berry Bliss

These are some blackberries growing in our garden.

More Feathered Fun

This was taken on the same day as my last post. I was looking through my pictures today and thought that this one was worthy of posting. So I would like you all to meet Zena (left) and Nazo (right).

Feathered Friend

We're heading up to Estes Park for the weekend, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get this up in time tomorrow. This is one of my sisters' parakeets, Zena. It took a loooooooooong time to get a fairly decent picture of these guys. They wouldn't stop moving their heads. (My post for the pets challenge.)

Attention Span

Introducing Rusty, the dog my sisters got for their birthday in June. This puppy sure is a little ball of energy. In this picture I like how you can see the object of his attention in the upper right. Poor bunny. Little dog, big bark.

Handiwork

I am ridiculously obsessed with clouds. Especially ones that look like this. To me, they're a little glimpse of the glory of God here on earth. His personal handiwork.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1

Fire Flower

This was taken in my neighbor's frontyard while I was walking down my street this evening. I was just waiting for someone to open the front door and look at me like I was insane.

Rain Rain Won't You Stay?

These were both taken on an especially rainy Colorado afternoon. These are 2 of about 6 that actually turned out nicely. Dumb camera, won't focus on raindrops.

My Baby

This is the first of my marigolds that we planted in biology to bloom.

Clean

This is a flower in the garden in my backyard. It had just rained and I think the combination of the white of the flower and the remaining raindrops on the plant beside it made it seem beautifully pure and clean to me.

Summer Submission

So...I was totally gonna put up a cool picture of my dance studio considering I spend 5 out of every 7 days there, but of course, I forgot my camera. So I'll be sure to do that for a later challenge...

Horton's Flower

I was outside today taking pictures of my feet for the speed challenge and spotted this flower, type, thing. It totally reminded me of something straight out of Horton Hears a Who. :D

More Feet Fun

This was my second choice for the speed challenge.

And more B&W

I thought this one was really interesting because I listened to Ms. March talking about how flowers shoot out spores all year, but I really wasn't interested until I saw it up close. You can see where some have exploded out and where some are on the verge of doing just that. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. :)

More fun with B&W
